SANBA will make funding opportunities available to its members as they become available.
Currently the following funding opportunities are active:
GIF is a unique hybrid investment fund that supports the piloting, rigorous testing, and scaling of innovations targeted at improving the lives of the poorest people in developing countries. There is currently an agreement between the GIF and the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) and innovators are urged to submit proposals to the fund, particularly those involving blockchain.
TIA provides financial and non-financial support to innovators and inventors.

SANBA Request for Quotations:
1. RFQ No. SANBA/01/08/2020 – Blockchain Challenge Bounty Hunt
SANBA requires the services of a software development service provider to create a tool to manage a “Blockchain Challenge Bounty Hunt”. The tool will link organisations who need help with particular blockchain issue/problems with people who can solve those problems. The “Bounty Hunt” will be accessible from the SANBA website (www.sanba.co.za).

2. RFQ No. SANBA/02/08/2020 – Who’s Who in the Blockchain Ecosystem in South Africa
SANBA requires the services of a software development service provider to create a tool to generate a “Who’s Who” directory of blockchain organisations and players in South Africa. The directory will be accessible from the SANBA website (www.sanba.co.za).
