DIGITAL IDENTITY INFORMATION SESSION 1
Digital identities and access systems form the foundation of a shared digital future in South Africa and the world. It is critical that government, academia, civil society and business work together to create this future.
The South African National Blockchain Alliance (SANBA), the South African Financial Blockchain Consortium (SAFBC) and the The South African Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution held the first in a series of workshops to design and develop the digital South Africa we need on 20 August 2021. The aim of this workshop was to share important work around digital identity that is being done in South Africa, Africa and the world. The workshop forms the basis for South Africa-focused collaboration in this space.

The Public Health Incentives App is a Loyalty & Rewards app for patients and Health Workers in the Public Health system. It pays our rewards Tokens to Patients and Health Workers for completing specific healthcare interactions and tasks, such as disease testing, initiating treatment, adherence to medicine, suppression of disease, prevention of infection, healthy lifestyle and more.
