Through dedicated Environmental Education Centres within the National Botanical Gardens, SANBA runs educational and skills development programmes aimed at schools and communities. These initiatives help raise awareness and deepen understanding of biodiversity and conservation. In addition, SANBA supports capacity building in the biodiversity sector by hosting students and interns through its various work-based learning programmes across South Africa.
